GEORG GABLER

 

Born on April 12, 1959 in Vienna, Austria, Georg Gabler enjoyed a classical music education. He studied concert piano at the Vienna College of Music, with Prof. Schwertmann, and had professional trainings of composition and arrangement with Prof. Urbanner and Prof. Cadek. Additionally, he studied medicine at the University of Vienna for several years.

 

At the age of twelve, Gabler was the winner of the Yamaha organ competition, played the leading part in a TV- movie when he was thirteen, and wrote his first composition for a play when he was sixteen. He accompanied well-known singer/songwriters, e.g. Ludwig Hirsch, was musical director for Rainhard Fendrich ( platinum and gold albums) and produced Etta Scollo, who also achieved gold status. In 1993 he founded his own recording studio (GAB) in Vienna, in which he produced music for commercials, TV and movie scores.

 

His capacities as producer, composer, arranger and studio musician have led to many great records such as Joni Madden (US singer), Shaolin Kung Fu, which was successfull in England and USA, and to solo-albums „After Midnight“ and "Candlelight Dinner.

 

In 2007 his production of Newcomer band "Mondscheiner" received the Austrian "Amadeus" award (Grammy of Austria).

 

The series of baby music „Happy Baby including his work („Mozart for Babies“, „Classics for Babies“, "For the New Arrival"), which were released worldwide, have achieved great acceptance. Considering the success of Happy Baby, Gabler produced and recorded a new collection of eight albums featuring music for babies, „Baby’s First Music“.

 

Georg Gabler has made „Baby’s First Music“ to a highlight of classical and traditional music, combining heartful melodies and tasteful arrangements.
