CANDLELIGHT DINNER
Thinking of ambient candlelight and a beautifully set table, inspired pianist Georg Gabler to compose music, which, like cuisine, slowly awakens the senses.
He also intended to incorporate the feeling of togetherness that a dinner celebration creates, and therefore the musicians recorded the composition simultaneously in the studio. They pictured themselves around a wonderful table setting, playing music for their imaginary friends.
A piano, and a string quartet accompanied by light percussion, flute, and harp, capture the romantic and festive atmosphere created by the traditional chamber orchestras. |
